I was raised on the Gulf of Mexico in Pensacola, Florida. My twin sister, Michelle, and I were born on July 21, 1986, and we partook in many of the same activities growing up and shared many of the same friends. Around the age of 4, our mother enrolled Michelle and me in ballet classes at the dance studio around the corner from our house; I fell in love with dancing there, and as I grew older I added jazz and tap to my weekly routine. As I got older I learned to love writing, and English became my favorite subject. After graduation, I attended Pensacola Junior College and obtained my Associates degree in General Studies; I still currently attend the University of West Florida, which is where I transferred in order to receive my Bachelor’s degree, by taking online courses every semester. I met my husband, Blake, when he was stationed in Pensacola in the summer of 2007, and I moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina after he received his orders to be stationed there in the fall; this is why I attend college courses online, now. We married on March 9, 2009, and he deployed to Africa two months after. He returned in January of this year (2010), and in May we celebrated our one-year anniversary by spending the weekend in New York City; we enjoyed our first Broadway musical that weekend. We found out that I was one month pregnant in July, and we are very excited to become first-time parents. Our baby is due on March 18, 2011, and we couldn’t be more excited, although we still aren’t far enough along to find out the sex of our baby. I am excited to become a mom and look forward to sharing experiences with you all!

Constipated Baby
