Molly Mathews

My name is Molly. I have been married for 5 years and have two children. A 10 year old step-son, a 2 year old daughter and I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with a boy! I live in the town I grew up in and have a large family that I see often. We all live close to each other right now and I hope it stays that way as we draw a lot of support from one another. I have been a nurse for 6 years, mostly in the emergency department, and I love my job. Since young childhood I dreamed of being a nurse and a mom and here I am both! I couldn't have imagined how difficult the journey would be but neither could I have fathomed the Joy that would come from both. Becoming a mom has made me into a better person in many ways and a bit of a crazy worry wart in other ways! Having support from other moms who have been there before or are there with you makes all the difference in the world!

Medieval Times with Baby

I love going to Medieval Times with my family! It’s such a fun show and my son loves to see the horses. I thought it was going to be too much for Daiyana, but turns out she loves the show too! There isn’t a lot of gun fire or crazy music so I don’t have to worry about her being scared or screaming her head off. The servers come to our table with food and she is fine. The first time we went was in Myrtle Beach and it was a great show! The kids loved to see the horses and lights. The only time she cried was when she was hungry. I positioned myself comfortably, pulled out my nursing shawl and fed her right there and I kept watching the show. She fell asleep like she was sound asleep in her bed at home.

We recently went to  Medieval Times in Baltimore, Maryland and as expected it was another great show. It was very crowded, but we were able to manage with two strollers. We took so many great pictures and I even bought the professional picture that was taken of us along with a souvenir frame. This show was great too because they had a lot of knights and horses. Daiyana loved watching the hawk fly around the arena. She look so cute turning her head all around to see it fly. Again, I had to nurse her and she went right to sleep. I was still able to enjoy my meal and the show with no worries.

I highly recommend anyone to take their baby or kids to see the show. They may not understand everything that is going on, but they have a great time watching the horses and lights.

This helps me a lot :) I won tickets to medieval times in Baltimore on Sunday (for my 5 year old) and it will just be me, him, and my 6 month old. I was worried it would be a horrible idea to take a baby, but hopefully I will be able to nurse him to sleep.
